so, i did make some progress last month. each thing i do is one step in becoming a better a person and better witch and just fucking goddess!

still lacking in some areas.

i need to get that crafting table up. i think that’s gonna be a hell of a working altar for me.

i’ve hit a wall with my story. i don’t know what to do with it. i don’t know what the conflict will be. maybe add the angel to the mix with the witches? what could go wrong?

i feel that Body is my weakest part but it comes up the strongest. i need to work on the other 2 more.

hell, if i just get off my ass and paint a pic, that would behoove me much.

tomorrow. i’ll clean up everything and get the table up and i will unleash all my things on to the world!

Day 60. Do you ever hold yourself to a standard in your witchcraft that you feel you may never obtain?

i never put a lvl or cap or standards on my craft. i read the books, and just started doing the things and just went from there.

there’s no plan on hitting some skill set and think, “i am here!”. i’m still learning and still going on my path and still trying to be better then i was before.

ok! let’s see if i am making some progress.

Mind

Reading: i am up to 32% done with reading 8 books this year. i did read all of Tarot for Your Self by Mary K. Geer. really hitting on Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom by Rachel Pollack. strange with that book, i’m understanding my Flower Speak cards better.

Writing: i am making progress there. no words, because the story ain’t done yet. hoping March give me words.

Blogging: 79 so far so that’s 33% there.

overall: 22% 

Body

Weight Loss: i just hit my goal for the month this morning, so 100% there!

Steps: 90%. i am trying harder with it.

Working Out: nope for this month.

Lose It: 25%. better then nothing

Witchcraft: i think i am getting into the hang of full moon rituals. i like throwing the cards. i feel that the gods are talking more.

as for finding a higher power and daily practice, nothing yet. still working on that.

i’m gonna myself a 75% for all that.

Tarot: card pulling was rough for this month. i failed on another tarot project. reading Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom is gonna be fun. i say 75% for tarot.

Crafting: 10%. i did get my crafting table. hope that will boost that up.

overall: 53%

so, for February i get the grade of: 43%. up for 10 from the last month so i am making progress.

i hope March brings more progress.

work is not good. it is crushing down on me, making me sink into a darkness.

once upon a time, my home life was bad and work was an escape. we moved, and now home is, i have one. this is much more than a place i sleep and eat at.

and now, i want to go home because it is better than work. the roof don’t leak and the internet is faster.

i don’t need to be fixed, work does.

8 days!

it’s night 8 of me being home. it’s at this time that i am seeing what all needs to be cleaned and worked.

i am getting my crafting table. i want it covered with the art i am making at the time, not crap. that will be the challenge.

i still need to get so much up and at them. being away from home did not help.

if i can stay home for the rest of the month, watch me get shit done.

i had written something out and now i’m back for another take.

when i leave work each night, i come to a stoplight. i can go right, left, or straight, each way will take me home. each path is different but still end up at the same place. i choose which way i go home.

weekend update

well, the weekend was good.

Matthew was here and i got to clean and we enjoyed each other’s time.

Da Babies came over and fucking hell. we thought Jeff Esther would be the bad twin and Mutt Hubert was just a little shit, the whole time here. from walking in the door till he left, just a little holy terror.

so, be that Jeff Esther was just a doll. well, she is a doll but this weekend, extra cute.

Kelly gave me a lot to think about on how to organize my clothes. need to sit and think about it.

i need to make a list of things i want to get done this weekend. i think i will be home for most of it, alone, and can get so much done.

everybody went home and i am all alone in my basement.

well, i’ve spent the past 2 nights home and my gods, it’s been wonderful.

i’m in the middle of a time-out of cleaning up things. clothes are 99% put away, just need to take on the living room and the kitchen. shouldn’t be that hard to do.

in part, Matthew is here for a fun weekend of cleaning and stuff. Kelly is coming down today and Da Babies are coming over tomorrow so a good time is gonna rock this house.

i get one day off.

i put in my 5 days and instead of a nice weekend to try to recharge, i get just one day to get all the things done.

high hopes to get things done tomorrow. high hopes.

and then there is the next weekend. Matthew will be there and i got no clue what the hell will go down.

i blame things on why i am this. it’s easier than taking responsibility for my own actions and thoughts.

the past, month i think. i’ve spent at least one night at Judy’s due to bad weather.

now, in year’s past, this would have been great. her place is clean and there’s room and warm.

but now, it is still all those things, but now, i have Basement Life. i have my own place, bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom, witch cabinet. and even now that’s it’s messy, it’s world’s better then where i was 2 years ago.

and that, is wearing on my soul. i don’t feel that i am home enough to recharge my soul. i live out of a bag, hoping to bring enough things to tide me over.

if i can just spend 7 nights, in a row, at home, in my own bed, maybe, just maybe, i’ll get back to a better stage.

Ok. Let’s look and see who well I’m doing this year.

Mind

Reading: Goal is 8 books this year. Currently at 25% of that goal. I’m reading 7 books right now and need to work on finishing one.

Writing: This is a 0 for me. I have not worked on any stories. I need to try to edit the newest chapter of “The Adventures of the DarkShark and his Witch” and try to get it done.

Blogging: 42 posts done! Been trying to write on my days off but January has been a bitch. 18%.

Body

Weight Loss: 8.2 pounds were lost! 26% of that goal reached!

Steps: Erp. 88% for the month. Don’t know what happened. *sad face*

Working Out: Big fail. Never got the ab lounger and still haven’t started walking.

Lose It: If I can live at my house for a solid week, I will be able to use this ap to the best of my powers. 0%

Soul

Witchcraft: I think I am winning with this. I am meditating and I did a full moon ritual and all the books I am reading are about being a better witch. I still need to work on redoing my Book of Shadows. 85%.

Tarot: Doing good with that. Still got a long list of things I need to write down. 85%

Crafting: Erp. 13%

So, Mind is at a 14%, Body is a 29% and Soul is 61%. Overall is a 35%, F.

One month down and I got over a third of my goals done. At this rate, I’ll be done in 2 more months.

Where I feel that I am failing, getting over a third done is a breath of fresh air to me. January was rough and I’m hoping February is a bit calmer and I can get more things done.
