Tarot has become the main focus of my witchcraft. I throw the cards daily, looking for guidance and insight on so many things.
I don’t remember where I learned about tarot. I get the idea of some black and white movies, with a old woman in a caravan, first looking in her crystal ball, then throwing the cards.
The mystique of the cards drew me in. I wanted to know what these pieces of paper meant. How the pictures could tell your future.
It wasn’t until I went to college and had free time and money to go out shopping without parents, that I found you could just buy a deck at the bookstore.
Tarot open up a new world for me. I feel I am able to dig deeper into myself, pull knowledge out that I didn’t know was there, and the funnness of talking to the spirits in my back yard.
I have been reading for over 25 years now. Every time I obtain a new deck, I learn something from it. I learn new things from decks I have been using for years.
It is never ending.
