I got thoughts.

I got thoughts.

Went to a wake for a neighbor. Line was all around the inside of Morton's.  Made me think about Dad’s funeral.

And that thought started me off on another train.

I thought moving out of the trailer and into the basement would cure me of my problems. I would have space to put all my stuff and get rid of my depression and become who I wanted to be.

And then Dad died.

So, I thought after “mourning” for a year, I was ready to start living. I was going to wait for the new year to start. It was a new decade after all.

I was so hopeful on January 1st, 2020.

You know how that year turned out.

Last night I sat and wrote and all the shit that was in me for the past few weeks was gone. I have hope and plans for the new year. Get my books out, with a notebook, and start studying.
